I am an adaptable and ambitious engineer eager to explore new opportunities in the field. With a solid educational background with dual degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, coupled with minors in Mathematics and Cyber Security, I have honed my skills to meet the demands of the dynamic tech industry. Having been captivated by programming since a young age, my enthusiasm for the field has only grown stronger through my experience as a Software Developer since 2016. One of the earliest memories I can remember clearly is when I was very young, around 6 years old, my parents asked me and my siblings what we wanted to be when we grow up. My eldest brother wanted to be a brain surgeon, my sister wanted to be a ballerina. I said I wanted to be a programmer, and now I am just that, always open to software related positions that will give me a challenge.
My point here is that I am, and always have been determined in what I do. I've known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to be a designer and programmer and I have never regretted that decision for even a second. I have been working professionally as a Software Developer since 2016, I have loved every second of my development projects, and nothing is better than the feeling I get when I look at the finished product after working extraneously hard on something. Programming is something I truly love to do, and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Scalability
I have learned quite a bit about how to design for scalability from my work at a company as large as Amazon.
In particular, as an engineering lead for two projects:
1. A time series database that stored and scanned over petabytes of data with 15,000 TPS of storage calls.
2. Designing and implementing the video ad server for the largest live streaming event in US history, NFL Thursday Night Football with over 15.3 million concurrent viewers.
Responsive Design
I have designed, implemented, tested, and maintained a variety of integration points for customers. Including web pages that customers directly utilize, RESTful APIs utilized by other websites and services, SDKs and CLIs used directly by developers, and custom cross functional integration points like business operations uploading spreadsheets that can be automatically parsed, stored, and programmatically utilized.
Engineering Management
Throughout my career I have frequently been a team lead or lead engineer. On two occassions (for about a year of experience total) I have stepped into the role of engineering manager. This involved defining teams charters, prioritizing long and short term goals, converting requirements to technical specifications, meeting with engineers to uncover issues, and relating progress and projections to upper management.
Cloud Computing Expert
I've worked as an engineer at Amazon for over 7 years, integrating AWS cloud components in most of my designs. This has led to implementing and supporting a wide array of cloud services to tackle different problems: authentication, authorization, time series data stores, video ad caching, event management, real time metrics capturing, traffic shaping, and intelligent prefetching.
Web Development
I have designed, implemented, and maintained 4 different Amazon internal web sites built with React, JQuery, and AWS components. Built and maintained the business site for ICAgile in C# and React. Also fully designed and created this website you're browsing right now.
Agile Methodologies
I've been an agile leader/scrum master for 4 years, and a Kanban Sensei for another 3. A team should only use as much process as necessary, but I have always been a process leader on my teams.
